We are Malcolm Leeming and Sue Long. We met through English Springer Spaniels when Malcolm bought a puppy from the first Bellehall litter when Sue was in partnership with Claire. We both had keen interests in the working side of the dogs but from two different angles - From a young age Malcolm took part in local shoots being encouraged by his fathers boss. He accuired a working bred springer of Sandringham lines, with which he worked in the beating line at prestegious shoots like Sprocton and Scorton at the top of Sutton Bank. Sue on the other hand took part in competion obedience with her Cocker Spaniel with moderate success.
We both enjoy working our home bred springers now on local shoots, and look forward to the satisfaction of training another, capable of attaining the working certificate.
We show our springers at Limit, Open and Championship level with moderate success. In the main we enjoy the company of many friends at these events and always take the best dogs home irrespective of the days results.
We occasionally breed a litter, usually every other year or when we feel the need for some new blood. Puppy enquiries are always welcome. Should you feel a puppy is not for you but you could be interested in an older English Springer then we sometimes have or know of older stock that is looking for the right permanent loving retirement home, please feel free to get in touch.
